Every Parent's Journey Deserves a Guide

Is your teen or young adult pulling away, testing limits, or floundering—and you're not sure how to respond?

Maybe they've retreated into their bedroom, their grades have slipped, or they're struggling to gain traction in the transition to adulthood. Perhaps daily requests are met with eye-rolls or arguments, or avoidance and no action—and it's wearing on you.

It's normal to zero in on your child's behavior when your teen or young adult is anxious, resisting your parenting, or not moving forward in life.

But what if the key to lasting change isn't just about fixing the situation or them—but supporting you?

The Solution: Parent-Focused Coaching

Coaching is just for you—to process the hard parts of parenting, to recognize the small wins, and build your capacity to lead your family with intention. With so much coming at you—advice, worries, and the emotional overwhelm of supporting a complicated child—coaching becomes your chance to pause, reflect, and steady yourself.

When parents commit to their own growth and emotional stability, the positive ripple effects can be profound—both within themselves and throughout the entire family.

You are worthy of committing more deeply to your own evolution. Parenting a complicated child can make it feel like your life has blown off course, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Can I Promise It Will All Work Out?

No. This is real life—and it's complex. But I can help you parent in ways that are wise, effective, and sustainable. You don't have to carry this alone.

Your child may still be finding their path. But you can find yours.

Let's chart your course together.

When we fail to set boundaries and hold people accountable, we feel used and mistreated. This is why we sometimes attack who they are, which is far more hurtful than addressing a behavior or a choice.

“I’ve seen Sarah collaborate effectively with parents in all stages of their teenager’s journey to health and recovery. She has a gift for helping families figure out where they are stuck in unconscious or unhealthy patterns or behaviors. Parents tell me that Sarah is both gentle and encouraging in her coaching--and direct. She's willing to point out what’s not working from her perspective, if needed. This is exactly what helps parents build on the gains made during treatment.”
